Recently, we made some updates to our recipes, and we’d like to share the story behind these changes.

We know how much you love our snack bars, and we don’t take recipe changes lightly. But as health guidelines continue to evolve, we’ve made it our mission to help everyone make healthier choices—without compromising on the flavours you enjoy.

In response to new guidelines aimed at reducing fat, salt, and sugar, we recently adjusted our recipes to better align with these standards. The new recipes aren’t about cutting costs or taking shortcuts; they’re about making our bars better for you.

The Challenges of Recipe Development

Making our bars both delicious and nutritious is no small task! Even small changes—like reducing fats or increasing the fruit content—can have a big impact on the taste, texture, and even how long a product stays fresh.

We’ve worked hard to strike the right balance, and we’re proud to share that our updated recipes now contain 43% less sugar and an average of 60% less saturated fat. These improvements reflect our commitment to crafting snacks that are better for you, without losing the great flavours you’ve come to expect.
